Pretendendo-se encontrar um bom local, para apreciar o sol e o mar... descobrir a Ericeira, bem próximo de Lisboa... será sem dúvida, uma excelente opção, com as suas praias de areia branca, falésias, e as suas águas transparentes, nas mais diversas tonalidades de azul...
Agora que as temperaturas, vão subindo... imagens como esta, tornam tal opção, ainda mais apetecível...

Sol e mar... / Sun and sea...

Intending to find a good place to enjoy sun and the sea... discover Ericeira, so close of Lisbon... it is certainly an excellent option, with its white sand beaches, cliffs, and its transparent waters, in various tones of blue...
Now that the temperatures are going up, images like this one... makes that, even more desirable...

Até a noite gosta de luz... e talvez por isso, tanto aprecia, o lado brilhante da Lua... por companhia...
Ou simplesmente, acende as estrelas, para trazer à noite, aquilo que tanto lhe falta... apenas e só... um pouco mais de dia...

Ainda assim... sempre haverá, aqueles que não gostam de luz... por qualquer razão.

Por aqui, gostamos de a descobrir, sempre que possível... como podem ver.

Still... there will always be those who do not like the light... for some reason.

Colors made of spontaneity, courage, and authenticity...

That is the kind of colors, that we can easily find in Nature.

Our world would be so much more authentic... if everyone would dare, to show their true colors... the real one's... which we bring inside us...

Orgulhosos, determinados, destemidos e coloridos... assim são estes pequenos barcos de pesca, que desafiam o mar, ainda fonte de sustento de muitas famílias, e que podemos facilmente encontrar na Praia dos Pescadores, na Ericeira.

Proud, determined, brave and colorful... that's how they look like, these small fishing boats, defying the sea, which still  are source of sustenance of so many families in this village, and which we can easily find at the Praia dos Pescadores in Ericeira.

Ter visto um dos últimos, e sempre fantásticos trabalhos, do Paulo César Silva, no seu imperdível blogue Cottidianus... fez-me recordar, de que teria a imagem de um mural, com um tema muito semelhante, e que ainda não o teria publicado por aqui...

Aqui fica uma imagem parcial, de um mural, que podemos encontrar, à entrada das Piscinas Municipais de Odivelas...

Um exemplo de arte... que podemos encontrar, em plena cidade...

E a minha sugestão musical de hoje, vai para um dos mais bonitos e delicados temas, que conheço, deste grande compositor... Aqui fica um link... Mike Oldfield - The Killing Fields.

Arte na cidade... / Art in the city...

Seeing one of the last, and fantastic photographic works of Paulo César Silva, from his must-see blog Cottidianus (See the link above, on this post)... reminded me, that I would have a photo, with a very similar theme, and which I have not yet would have put here, on the blog...

So, here it is, a partial image of a painted wall, that we can find near the entrance to the Municipal Swimming Pools from Odivelas...
An example of art... that we can find in this city...

And my musical suggestion today, goes to a short theme, but one of the most beautiful and delicate, that I know of, from this great composer... Mike Oldfield - The Killing Fields. (See the link above, on this post).

Cooperation...

Na Natureza, é frequente assistir-se a relações de simbiose, entre diferentes espécies animais, as quais podem durar, por vezes, ao longo de toda a sua existência.

Contudo, uma relação idêntica, parece ser extremamente difícil de manter, entre seres humanos, por vezes, até da mesma raça, credo, religião, ideologia, país ou família...

Aparentemente, a cooperação e o entendimento, são processos que, nas sociedades humanas, parecem ainda encontrar-se, em estado larvar...

In Nature, we can see often symbiotic relationships between different animal species, which last throughout of its existence, sometimes.
However, a similar relationship appears to be extremely difficult to maintain, among humans, sometimes even of the same race, creed, religion, ideology, nation or family...
Apparently, cooperation and understanding, are processes which, in human societies, are still in the larval stage...
