Prosseguindo neste novo ano, e numa nova etapa do nosso percurso, ainda que mergulhados no saudosismo de um passado que se tornou bem mais perfeito, aos olhos deste novo presente... achei por bem aqui assinalar um tributo, a todos os que se foram perdendo... e já não nos podem acompanhar, da mesma forma, pelo menos, ao longo da presente viagem... mas que sempre sentiremos estarem por perto... enquanto forem recordados.

The storm...

Haverá sempre um céu bem maior do que qualquer nuvem. As que estão a chegar... também irão passar.

Mas, entretanto... preparemo-nos para a tempestade... e enfrentemo-la com inteligência, sensatez e responsabilidade.

Teremos pela frente, os 4 meses mais cruciais, das nossas vidas, por toda a Europa...

Globalization...

Não dominamos a Natureza... não dominamos o mundo... não nos dominamos a nós mesmos, em muitas situações de crise pessoal ou colectiva... nem dominamos o nosso profundo espanto, perante as nossas fortes convicções e expectativas terem caído completamente por terra... de que a globalização, só nos traria vantagens e benefícios.

A globalização... traz-nos o melhor e o pior... no espaço de horas, perante a nossa incapacidade de reacção ou de consciencialização... sendo a maior prova disso mesmo, a actual pandemia, que já chegou aos 4 cantos do mundo.

O mundo mudou depois do 11 de Setembro.

O mundo também mudará, com as ilações que cada país conseguir tirar, nos próximos meses, após conseguir controlar minimamente este súbito vírus, sejam quais forem as medidas que cada um deles, tiver que adoptar para tal.

Globalização... / Globalization...

We do not dominate Nature... we do not dominate the world... we do not dominate ourselves, in many situations of personal or collective crisis... nor do we dominate our profound astonishment, before our strong convictions and expectations have fallen completely to the ground... that globalization would only bring us advantages and benefits.

Globalization... brings us the best and the worst... in the space of hours, in the face of our inability to react or having awareness of that... being the greatest proof of that, the current pandemic, which has now reached to the 4 corners of the world.

The world changed after 9/11.

The world will change also, with the lessons that each country manages to draw in the coming months, after being able to minimally control this sudden virus, whatever the measures that each one of them will have to adopt to do so.

Sabiam que, há 17 meses consecutivos, estão a ser batidos os máximos mensais de temperatura média global?...

As alterações climáticas estão aí... e a ocorrer a um ritmo bem mais rápido, do que se julgaria...

O nosso planeta, parece irremediavelmente destinado, a tornar-se num futuro não muito distante, num lugar quase tão inóspito e sem vida quanto o nosso satélite natural, e apesar de tudo... políticas ambientais... continuam a não ser prioridade máxima, na ordem do dia...

Our planet seems hopelessly destined to become, in a not too distant future, a place almost so inhospitable and lifeless, as our natural satellite, and however... environmental policies... continue not to be a top priority on the agenda of the most countries...

Silence!...

Nos silêncios... cabem todos os sentimentos, pensamentos e omissões.

Nos silêncios, podem-se calar as verdades. Mas pelo menos, o silêncio... não deixa ouvir as mentiras.

Razão pela qual, o silêncio, será o mais puro dos sons... que jamais conseguirás ouvir! Apenas... sentir...

In silence, we can not hear the truths. But at least, silence doesn't let listen to the lies.

For that reason, silence is the clearest and pure sound... that you will never hear! You just can feel it...
