A História do mundo, tal como a história de cada povo, é feita de avanços e recuos...
A grandeza de um povo, não se mede apenas pelas suas conquistas, em épicos cenários de batalha... tantas vezes, pagando... ou fazendo outro povo pagar... um preço demasiado elevado, sob várias formas, para as conseguir manter ou alcançar.
A maior grandeza de um povo, advém da memória de todo o seu percurso, através do avanço que o reconhecimento e correcção de erros cometidos, traz ao presente, e que acima de tudo, projecta e alicerça no futuro, inspirando e fazendo evoluir, o país e o resto do mundo.
Talvez seja por isso, que a palavra... universal... seja de todas as palavras, a que melhor define, o nosso pequeno, mais imenso... Portugal.
E a minha sugestão musical para hoje, aqui fica... homenageando um grande músico e compositor, que partiu recentemente... infelizmente, tendo perdido a sua última batalha no tratamento ao Sars-Cov-2, segundo o que foi veiculado por alguns meios de comunicação.

The greatness of a people is not measured only by its conquests in epic battle scenes... many times, paying... or making another people pay... a price that is too high, in so many ways, to achieve them or keep them.
The greatness of a people is measured by the memory of its entire journey, and by the progress that the recognition and correction of mistakes, brings to the present, and above all, projects and supports into the future, inspiring and improving, the country and the rest of the world.
Perhaps, that's why the word... universal... might be of all the words, the one that best defines, our small but immense country... Portugal.
And my musical suggestion for today, here it stays... honoring a great musician and composer, who died recently... unfortunately, having lost his last battle in the treatment of Sars-Cov-2, according to some media.
